About the "Lifetime Guarantee" offered by

The Ideal Rod Company:

We are so confident in the durability of the Emmrod, that we personally offer a

"lifetime guarantee" against breakage on the handle and rod on all our Emmrod models.

Yes, that is correct -- lifetime guarantee!! we often tell customers, "It is a year's

warranty, but we don't care when the year was!" No proof of purchase required...we

know its our pole. If it is broken, we want to make it right with you. Although you can

break one if you try hard enough, you have to really want to break it. If it can't be

repaired, we'll replace it, either by having you return it to the Emmrod factory or

to a local dealer or distributor. In the rare case, there is a defect

in the product, don't worry...we'll take care of that too.

Since some of our models have cork-covered handles...we ask you to understand that over time

that cork does deteriorate. You can protect it, like many of the fishermen do here in the Texas

Coastal Bend, they "shrink-wrap" it. The cork isn't guaranteed for life, but with proper care,

it should last you for years. It's "stuck on there real good!"
